The Houston Police Department said they found the motorcycle on the ramp without its rider.
HOUSTON — A motorcyclist is dead after Houston police said he was thrown from his bike off a freeway interchange early Sunday morning.
This happened around 1:30 a.m. on the ramp from I-45 North to I-59 South.
The Houston Police Department said they found the motorcycle on the ramp without its rider. After canvassing the area, officers found the rider’s body in a wooded area. They said he appeared to be in his mid-20s.
HPD said they don’t know what led up to the crash at this time.
The interchange was briefly shut down overnight as an investigation took place.
