A METRO bus crashed into a building in north Houston after the driver experienced a medical episode.
HOUSTON — A METRO bus crashed into a building early Thursday morning in north Houston after the driver suffered a medical episode, according to officials.
The crash happened around 1:13 a.m. on the northbound feeder road of I-45 North at Midland Drive, near West Road.
Houston METRO’s public information office said the bus was not in service at the time, and no passengers were on board. The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials said the crash remains under investigation.
