Almost every major health care system in Houston has committed significant funding to expansions in the suburbs.
HUMBLE, Texas — Another suburban hospital is expanding its surgical options and the capacity it needs to support them.
Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital said this week that its new cardiac surgery program, led by Dr. Viacheslav Bobovnikov, has performed its first surgical case. The program is part of a $13 million expansion at the hospital located at 18951 N. Memorial Drive in Humble.
“With the opening of our cardiac surgery program, we are directly investing in the health of our community for future generations to come,” Nikki Roux, vice president and COO for Memorial Hermann Northeast, said in a press release. “We deeply value the trust our patients place in us, and this new program allows us to build upon the exceptional care they have come to know and rely on from our teams.”
