Man convicted in cousin's east Austin murder gets 20-year sentence

AUSTIN (KXAN)– A Travis Region jury discovered a guy guilty of murder May 27 about a 2023 murder examination.

According to the Travis Area District Lawyer’s Workplace, 37 -year-old Elvin Salvador Tinoco-Orosco was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison for the fatality of his relative, 38 -year-old Jader Francisco Tinoco Salgado.

On Oct. 16, 2023, the Austin Authorities Department got a 911 call about a capturing in the parking lot of a shopping center in the 2200 block of East Waterfront Drive.
