The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The woman was transported by Life Flight to a hospital.
HOUSTON — A man and woman were found shot in east Harris County Friday during a welfare check, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a post to X a little after 6:30 p.m.
It happened near Crosby-Lynchburg and Commerce. Gonzalez said the man was declared dead at the scene. The woman was taken by Life Flight to a hospital.
At this point, we don’t know what led to the shooting. We also don’t know the woman’s condition.
