Houston police stated the male who shot the female flagged down first -responders after the case.
HOUSTON– The capturing fatality of a woman in southeast Houston very early Tuesday will certainly be committed a grand jury to figure out if the shooter ought to be charged.
The shooting happened on Golfway Road near Telephone Roadway around 5: 30 a.m.
Houston cops claimed the homeless guy who fired the woman flagged down first responders and was cooperating with the examination.
In an upgrade on Wednesday, HPD said the 34 -year-old male was sleeping on a makeshift bed. The woman, who is also homeless, come close to with a big stick and swiped his sleeping bag and the belongings inside it.
Fearing for his safety and security, the male informed investigators that he retrieved a firearm and terminated as the women ran away with the knapsack. She collapsed and died at the scene.
The shooter called 911 with his cellular phone, which remained in his backpack.
One more man oversleeping the area told KHOU 11’s Katiera Winfrey that he listened to multiple gunshots, but only woke up when an ambulance and various other initial responders showed up.
HPD has not identified the shooter or the victim.
