After years of delays, the Ritz-Carlton’s first-ever Houston hotel and condo project is finally moving forward in the Uptown/Post Oak area.
HOUSTON — The long-rumored Ritz-Carlton hotel-condo project planned for Houston’s Uptown area appears to be moving ahead after years of delays.
Houston-based real estate development firm Deiso Moss announced Sept. 10 that it is partnering with Marriott International Inc. (Nasdaq: MAR) to bring the Ritz-Carlton brand to Houston in a project that will mark its first-ever hotel and branded residences in the city.
The Ritz-Carlton Houston, which will be at 2120 Post Oak Blvd., will combine “timeless architecture, world-class hospitality, five-star amenities and a fully realized private residential experience unlike anything the market has seen before,” Deiso Moss said in a news release.
“We are humbled to be part of this moment in Houston’s history,” Deiso Moss founders Andrew Deiso and Taylor Moss said in a joint statement.
