Khalil Bryan tried to get away when law enforcement officers closed in on the home in Cypress. He was eventually taken into custody and taken to jail.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A fugitive out of Louisiana was arrested Wednesday morning in Cypress, according to the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office.
Constable Terry Allbritton’s office said Khalil Bryan, 30, was taken into custody. They said he tried to get away by getting out of a window at the house he was found at on Keystone Green Drive, which is in a neighborhood just north of the Northwest Freeway at Mueschke Road.
According to investigators, Bryan had multiple outstanding warrants out of Louisiana for home invasion, aggravated assault, child endangerment and unlawful possession of a firearm.
After jumping out of the window, Bryan was arrested and treated for minor injuries before he was taken to the Harris County Jail.
Authorities said two other people at the house were arrested on unrelated warrants.
