The event runs through Sept. 1. Money raises goes to the Houston Food Bank.
HOUSTON — Houston Restaurant Weeks is back, offering food lovers a chance to indulge while giving back to the community.
The annual month-long event is underway now and runs through Sept. 1, featuring multi-course prix fixe menus at some 400 participating restaurants across the city.
Brunch and lunch options are priced at $25, while dinners run either $39 or $55, depending on the venue.
Diners can explore the official website to filter by cuisine, location, or meal type, making it easy to plan the perfect outing. From upscale spots like Eddie V’s to casual favorites such as Dough Zone Dumpling House, the variety is extensive.
Beyond great deals, which are often lower than ordering à la carte, the event serves a bigger purpose: supporting the Houston Food Bank, which faces an $11 million shortfall after losing COVID relief funds.
Restaurants donate $1 per brunch or lunch and $3 to $5 per dinner, raising $1.86 million last year alone.
