DALLAS — Whether you’re a connoisseur of luxury watches or you just love Dr. Pepper, bidders have a chance to win a one-of-a-kind timepiece designed by a Dallas company and it’s all for a good cause.

Jack Mason watch brand, which began in Dallas ten years ago, is auctioning off the Strat-O-Timer GMT: Dr. Pepper (Caffeine Free) watch to raise money for Central Texas flooding relief.

Peter Cho, Jack Mason’s co-founder, said 100 percent of the proceeds from the auction will go to the TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund

The auction will end on August 8 with the highest bidder taking home the unique watch.

The Strat-O-Timer GMT watch features dual time zone settings perfect for travelers. The watch is valued at $1,149 and as of July 17, the highest bid was $6,600.

Jack Mason also will donate $50 from every watch sale, up to $5,000, to the TEGNA Texas Flood Relief Fund.

WFAA, its parent company TEGNA, and ten sister stations across Texas are raising money through the fund to provide support to non-profit organizations providing direct relief to areas in Central Texas hit hardest by flash flooding during the July 4 weekend.
