Irving, Texas Omni Las Colinas resort finishes $20M renovations

The hotel on Monday announced the completion of a $20 million renovation of its 421 guestrooms, which include 111 luxury suites and the Las Colinas Ballroom.

IRVING, Texas — Irving might not be the first place you’d expect to find a luxury waterfront resort, fresh off a $33 million renovation, but that’s where the Omni Las Colinas just wrapped up a massive upgrade and redesign.

The hotel on Monday announced the completion of a $20 million renovation of its 421 guestrooms, which include 111 luxury suites and the Las Colinas Ballroom. The “top-to-bottom redesign” includes new signature suites, including “The Governor’s Suite” with rich wood paneling, a dining table for eight and panoramic views of Lake Carolyn.

A “Presidential Suite” has a green marble bathroom, an expansive living area with a pool table and grand piano and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The room upgrades come on the heels of a recent $13 million overhaul of the resort’s common spaces, including a new lakeside pool area called “The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge & Pool Deck” on Lake Carolyn, which sits between a development of apartments in Las Colinas.

The pool and lounge area features daybeds, fire pits, private cabanas and a large outdoor lawn for events, according to the release.

There’s also three new restaurants on the property: LRH Restaurant and Bar, Flossie’s breakfast and brunch and an Over The Counter market for snacks and coffee.

The Omni upgrades aren’t the first major renovation to a Las Colinas property in recent years. The nearby Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas debuted last year, a renovation and rebrand from the longtime Four Seasons Club and Resort property.
