AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Wednesday’s episode of Inside Austin’s Agenda, host Grace Reader will sit down with Austin City Council Member Zo Qadri. He oversees the district that encompasses the University of Texas and downtown Austin.
Qadri will be on the show to talk about his budget priorities the day before Austin city council is set to discuss its maximum property tax rate. City council members will vote on that budget in the next couple weeks — mid August.
Council Member Qadri is part of a subquorum of council members who have said their top priorities are: public safety, community support and parks and public spaces.
Austin City Council also behind a resolution passed last week that kickstarts the process of creating a Hate Crimes Task Force.
