Before you head to the airport, check on your flight.
HOUSTON — If you had travel plans this afternoon, storms around Houston may have affected them.
We checked with the FAA and they reported a ground delay for departures to Bush Airport through 8 p.m. Departures to IAH were delayed an average of 40 minutes.
A check of the radar showed strong storms approaching Bush Airport. The KHOU 11 Weather Team issued a Weather Impact Alert for storms Wednesday afternoon.
If you have a flight, your best bet is to contact your airline.
