Houston police search for missing 61-year-old in danger

Houston police are searching for 61-year-old Alan Lee, last seen in Houston’s 77029 ZIP code, as they fear he is in imminent danger.

HOUSTON — Houston police are searching for a 61-year-old man who disappeared Thursday evening and is believed to be in imminent danger, according to a Houston Regional CLEAR Alert issued by the Texas Center for the Missing.

Alan Lee was last seen Thursday, July 10, at about 6 p.m. while on foot on Aleen Street near East Freeway in Houston’s 77029 ZIP code, according to the Houston Police Department. That ZIP code includes the Pleasantville Area and Jacinto City.

Lee was wearing distinctive clothing when he disappeared: a blue long-sleeve hooded dry fit shirt, black sweatpants with a gray stripe, and brown shoes. He was carrying a square green and black lunch box and possibly wearing a gray hard hat.

Lee is described as 5-feet 8-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was born on September 30, 1963, and does not wear glasses or contact lenses according to police officials. 

The Texas Center for the Missing issued the regional alert on behalf of the Houston Police Department, indicating that law enforcement has serious concerns about Lee’s safety. Officials did not say why they were concerned for his safety.
