HPD said Marko Cinan, 23, is in custody on a murder charge. He was arrested Wednesday by HPD’s Narcotics Tactical Team.
On the day of the shooting, police said it may have stemmed from a road rage incident or other disturbance between people in two cars.
The shooting in the orange parking garage was overheard by nearby officers who were working security.
Officers saw a black Chrysler 300 with shattered windows leaving the area. It was located nearby and three people were detained and questioned but later released, HPD said. It’s not clear if Cinan was one of those people who were questioned.
No one else was hurt in the shooting.
Police interviewed witnesses and reviewed surveillance video.
