Houston murder suspect arrested in Louisiana

Houston police said Quinntin Michael Senegal, 38, was arrested in St. Martinville, Louisiana. He will be brought back to Texas to face a murder charge.

HOUSTON — A man accused of killing another man in Houston earlier this summer has been arrested in Louisiana.

Houston police said Quinntin Michael Senegal, 38, was arrested on Sept. 5 in St. Martinville, Louisiana.

The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on July 17 at an apartment complex on Brookglade Circle in southwest Houston near the intersection of Bissonnet Street and South Dairy Ashford Road.

Investigators said residents called 911 after hearing gunshots. When officers got there, they found Kevin Moore, 45, on the ground in the common area. He had been shot multiple times and was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators were able to identify Senegal as the suspect in the case and filed the murder charge on Aug. 19.

A motive for the shooting is unknown.

He will be brought back to Houston to face the charge, officials said.
