According to the Pasadena Police Department, Jose Santos Maldonado-Zavala abducted a woman from an apartment complex on Houston Avenue.
PASADENA, Texas — Pasadena police have arrested and charged a man with kidnapping a woman earlier this month.
The victim said she was abducted at Emerald Pointe Apartments on Houston Avenue near Pasadena Boulevard around midnight on July 2.
Jose Santos Maldonado-Zavala, 56, was later arrested on a kidnapping charge.
Police said in a social media post that sexual assault charges are pending further investigation.
A judge set Maldonado-Zavala’s bond at $250,000.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims in the area.
