A toddler died after being found unresponsive in a Hockley backyard pool; an investigation is underway.
HOCKLEY, Texas — A toddler has died after being found unresponsive in a backyard swimming pool in a Hockley neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened at a home on Dunham Lake Drive near Laura Beth Drive.
HCSO said they responded to a call regarding a possible drowning. A 2-year-old was given CPR at the scene and later pronounced dead by EMS.
At this point, we don’t know the circumstances around the drowning. An investigation is underway.
