Group demands firing of North Texas GOP chair over poll suggesting Muslims, Jews pose national threat

The Texas chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) on Friday demanded Tarrant County GOP Chair Bo French be removed for tweeting out a poll this week asking whether Muslims or Jews pose a bigger threat to the United States. “A poll asking Americans to choose whether Jews or Muslims are the ‘bigger threat’ is not only offensive – it’s dangerous,” CAIR-Texas Board Member John Floyd said in a statement. “It fuels suspicion and division during a time when both Jewish and Muslim communities are facing heightened threats across the country.”
