Rebees plans a new $1.25 million café-bar at GreenStreet, set to open by April 2026.
HOUSTON — GreenStreet, a bustling downtown mixed-use development in the midst of a massive reimagining effort, will soon offer an entirely new lobby experience for the project’s office tenants, which will include a new food and beverage concept.
Dallas-based Rebees, which took over GreenStreet’s management last year, is preparing to add a new lobby bar and café on the first floor of GreenStreet Tower, the 11-story office tower at 1201 Fannin St., according to an Aug. 14 filing submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The new 4,750-square-foot café, dubbed Lila’s at GreenStreet, is expected to cost $1.25 million to build out. Construction work is scheduled to begin next month and wrap up in April 2026, the filing said.
Austin-based Rios has been tapped to design the new café-bar. The filing did not list a general contractor.
