Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is considering calling a special session, which could lead to a revision of the state’s pending ban on THC-containing products, Hearst political reporter Jeremy Wallace speculated in a new analysis piece. Even though Abbott chalked up major legislative victories this legislative session, including a long-pursued win on school vouchers, the Republican governor earlier this month told attendees of a Harris County Republican Party dinner, “all I can say is we may not be done yet,” the Express-News reports. During the speech, Abbott specifically referred to Senate Bill 19, which would banned cities, counties and school districts from spending taxpayer dollars on lobbying in Austin.
