GoFundMe says its users have raised $5 million for Texas flood victims


Crowdfunding platform GoFundMe on Wednesday said its site users have so far raised more than $5 million for victims of the deadly July Fourth floods that devastated parts of the Texas Hill Country. GoFundMe also has set up an online Texas Relief Hub to house verified and vetted GoFundMe pages for Texas flood victims, officials also said. Even so, the company said there’s more work to be done as the scope and scale of the tragedy come into full view. Officials with GoFundMe urged those wishing to help with the recovery consider the following online fundraisers that haven’t yet reached their goal:
