Gemini Ink Trans Poetica event will commemorate queer and trans Latinx literary neighborhoods

To start Satisfaction Month, San Antonio literary-arts facility Gemini Ink is partnering with journal Infrarealista Review and literary effort Letras Latinas at the College of Notre Dame’s Institute for Latino Research studies to organize an event focused on maintaining Texas’ queer and trans Latinx literary neighborhoods. Component poetry reading and part discussion forum, the occasion “Trans Poetica: A Pride Month Literary Plática” mirrors that these voices and those of allies will not be silenced by hazards, invalidation or the political climate being circulated by the existing governmental management. Pushcart Prize-nominated poet Keagan Wheat, Burns writer SG Huerta and Stalina Villarreal, Spanish translator and author of Watcha will certainly take part in the discussion.
