Garth Brooks surprises audience at George Strait's benefit for Texas flood victims


Country Music Hall of Famer George Strait got a little assist on the star power during his Sunday night benefit concert to help those affected by the devastating Central Texas floods. While Strait, a San Antonio native, has plenty of fans of his own, it certainly didn’t hurt that the boost in question came from Garth Brooks, a fellow Hall of Fame member who sold out six consecutive shows at the Alamodome back in 1998, Billboard reports. The superstars joined in for a rendition of “The Fireman” as a tribute to the first responders who helped out after the disaster, according to the publication.
