Galveston police released a photo of a man believed to be responsible for a deadly shooting early Thursday morning.
GALVESTON, Texas — Galveston police are searching for a man they said shot and killed another man in the early-morning hours of Thursday.
According to a social post made by Galveston Police Chief Douglas Balli, the incident unfolded just before 3 a.m. when two men showed up at a gas station at the intersection of 45th Street and Broadway.

The men were together in a white Chevrolet truck, and surveillance video showed both of them going into the store, buying something and then going back to the truck.
Soon after that, one of the men got out of the truck and started running away.
The suspect that police are looking for got out of the truck and chased the man for about a block before he caught up to him and shot him several times.
The shooter then returned to the truck and left the scene northbound on 44th Street.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Balli said investigators believe it was an isolated incident, but the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
