FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth ISD said multiple campuses received threatening emails Friday, though officials said there is no confirmed threat at this time.
In a social media post, Fort Worth ISD officials said the email was regarding a bomb threat.
In the post, the district said authorities were notified immediately and are actively reviewing the situation.
The district did add that at this time, they do not have information indicating a confirmed threat to any campus. The district said other local schools and agencies reported receiving similar messages.
The district said campuses are following established safety protocols while law enforcement continues its assessment.
Fort Worth ISD said it will provide updates as they become available.
