HOUSTON — Firefighters are working to put out a fire in southwest Houston.
It happened at what appears to be a business on High Star Drive near S. Kirkwood Road. According to the Houston Fire Department, crews began working inside to put out the flames, but around 4 p.m., they shifted to a defensive strategy, fighting the fire from outside.
So far, there’s no word on what caused the fire or whether anyone was hurt.

PIO is en route to a fire near 12000 Moonmist in southwest Houston.
Firefighters were dispatched at 3:30 pm for a home on fire. We arrived and began firefighting efforts. Around 4pm, we pulled out of the home to fight the fire defensively.
No word on injuries so far.
