Fire burns through Northeast Side home, San Antonio Fire Division says

The home’s garage was referred to as a ‘failure’

SAN ANTONIO — A fire shed through the roofing of a Northeast Side home on Wednesday afternoon.

San Antonio firemans reacted to the scene after 2: 30 p.m. in the 4800 block of Castle Rose.

Fire authorities explained the home’s garage location as a total loss. The remainder of the home sustained unknown damage.

2 individuals inside the home were able to run away without injuries, according to SAFD.

An onlooker recorded a video of the fire as it melted via the garage location.

The cause of the fire is vague. It continues to be under additional investigation.
