The wreck involved three vehicles, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. One vehicle caught fire.
HOUSTON — At least one person was killed in a fiery wreck involving multiple vehicles in northeast Harris County Sunday night, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The wreck happened along FM 1960 east of Crosby-Huffman, according to Sheriff Gonzalez’s post on X a little after 8 p.m. He posted that three vehicles were involved in the wreck. One of the vehicles caught fire and the driver inside was confirmed dead.
At this point, we don’t know of any other injuries from the wreck. We also don’t know what caused it.
FM 1960 was shut down in both directions during the investigation.
