At this point, there’s no word of any injuries.
HOUSTON — There’s a big mess for those of you heading westbound on the East Freeway at the North Loop.
A big rig somehow caught fire on the East Freeway interchange at 610. From Houston Transtar cameras, you can see the 18-wheeler on fire with burning debris from the truck scattered on the freeway.
According to officials, there are no reports of injuries, and it’s only the one big rig involved.
Aside from the East Freeway, traffic is backed up on 610 as well.
