LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — Police are evacuating nearby homes after an explosion at a home in Leander Thursday evening.
The explosion happened in the 2200 block of Hilltop Climb Drive in the Bluffs at Crystal Falls neighborhood.
In a post on social media, Leander Police said they and Leander FD are actively investigating and have begun evacuating surrounding homes “as a precaution.”
The cause of the explosion is currently unknown, as is the extent of any injuries.
Police are asking people to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work safely and efficiently.
