Burleson police say the incident happened Monday afternoon at a home on Pin Cushion Trail.
BURLESON, Texas — An elderly couple is dead after a murder-suicide incident Monday afternoon, according to Burleson Police.
Police say at 3:30 p.m. the Burleson Public Safety Communications team got a 911 call from a man saying that he killed his wife and was planning to take his own life at their home in the 300 block of Pin Cushion Trail.
Officials say officers went to the home and tried to contact the man. Police say after several failed attempts, they entered the home at 4:35 p.m.
Police say a drone was sent into the home where officers found the bodies of a man and woman in their 80s.
Burleson police say the investigation is ongoing, but assure there is no threat to the public.
