Dolly Parton is partnering with the Tennessean Travel Stop on a location next month, with plans for more sites.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Dolly Parton announced this week that she is bringing her newest venture to Tennessee: Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop — with plans for more locations to be announced soon.
Parton is working with the Tennessean Travel Stop to rebrand and renovate the chain’s flagship location in Cornersville. The stop will reopen as Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop on June 24 and focus on “family roadtrippers and truck drivers alike,” according to the travel stop’s website.
Guests will be able to relax, shop and eat all in one place, with a restaurant, coffee shop and barbeque. There will be a dog park, fuel zones for cars and 18-wheelers, and a truckers lounge. The travel stop also features event spaces, a main stage and a permanent mural commissioned for the location, a “love letter to Cornersville,” according to the website.
“A true gathering place for both travelers and the local community, the travel stop is the first of many planned locations,” according to the travel stop’s website. “Inspired by Dolly’s lifelong connection to the open road, from her childhood in the hills of East Tennessee to decades spent touring the world by bus, the venture reimagines what a roadside stop can be.”
The travel stop also plans to spotlight local Tennessee musicians and bands on its main stage.
Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop will be located at Exit 22 off Interstate 65 in Cornersville, Tennessee, about one hour south of Nashville and one hour northwest of Huntsville.
Additional locations are expected to be announced in 2026.
