Officials said an SUV driver left his lane before hitting a dump truck head-on.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A deadly crash on FM 149 at Millhouse Road is tied to a possible assault investigation at a nearby home, Montgomery County officials.
The Magnolia Fire Department first posted about the crash on social media at 9:11 a.m. They said the road would “be closed for an extended period of time.” A hazmat crew was called to the scene.
The fire department said an SUV had left the home where the possible assault happened. MFD said the SUV appeared to have left its lane, crashing head-first into a dump truck.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. We don’t yet know if the driver of the dump truck suffered injuries.
Debris from the crash scattered across the road could be seen from Air 11.
