DALLAS — Dallas Fire-Rescue on Saturday saved a dog that appeared to be stuck on a pillar underneath a bridge, officials said.
The call came in around 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, and first responders responded to Topeka Avenue.
The dog did not appear to be in distress, but it was in a small area with very limited access, officials with Dallas Fire-Rescue said.
First responders were able to use a ladder truck to get to the dog and bring it down to safety. The dog was then turned over to Dallas Animal Services.
