Cypress Christian School opens a brand-new campus in Bridgeland—marking a major milestone for the growing K-12 community.
HOUSTON — Cypress Christian School students started the 2025-2026 school year in a brand-new campus in Bridgeland.
The private K-12 school migrated from a 22-acre campus near Jones Road that it had been in since the ’90s into a its new 165,000-square-foot building on 44-acres in the master-planned community.
“It’s just been a monumental opportunity and something that we have been working on since summer 2019, and it’s finally come to fruition,” President Jeff Potts told the Houston Business Journal.
The school has been a fixture of the community since 1978. However, the decision to move began in 2019, when the community voted to relocate its campus to Bridgeland.
“We were outgrowing our location and did a demographic and psychographic study and learned that the path of progress was in the Bridgeland area, at the same time, in 2021 we were approached towards moving to Bridgeland to be an anchor for the development,” Potts said.
