Residents in part of the Cinco Ranch area are dealing with a water outage Thursday morning as crews work to restore service in Cinco MUD No. 10.
CINCO RANCH, Texas — Residents in part of the Cinco Ranch area are dealing with a water outage as crews work to address the issue Thursday morning, according to Cinco Municipal Utility District No. 10.
In a message to customers, utility operator Inframark said Cinco MUD No. 10 is “currently experiencing an outage” and that operators are actively working on the situation.
Officials said there is currently no estimated timeline for when service will be restored.
The district did not specify what caused the outage.
Cinco MUD No. 10 is located in Fort Bend County. The district is located south of Interstate 10 near the Willow Fork of Buffalo Bayou and falls within Katy ISD boundaries.
According to district information, Cinco MUD No. 10 covers more than 581 acres.
No additional details about the outage were immediately released.
