A Cleveland ISD school bus crash left it on its side; all students are safe with no major injuries reported.
CLEVELAND, Texas — A Cleveland ISD school bus ended up on its side after a crash Wednesday morning, but officials say all students are safe.
According to the district, transportation staff and emergency responders quickly evacuated every student from the bus. No major injuries have been reported.
Views from Air 11 did show a student being moved on a stretcher.
Medical personnel are on scene, and students will be evaluated at a local hospital out of an abundance of caution. Parents have already been contacted directly.
The district says it will conduct a full investigation into the incident.
“Student safety is always our highest priority, and we are grateful for the swift response of our transportation staff and emergency responders,” Cleveland ISD said in a statement.
This is the second crash of its kind involving a Cleveland ISD bus on FM 1010. The first one happened on Monday morning earlier this week.
