Chevron Phillips unveils new headquarters in The Woodlands

Chevron Phillips Chemical has a new 360,000-square-foot headquarters in The Woodlands.

HOUSTON — Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP has sold its former headquarters building in The Woodlands and is cutting the ribbon on its new one across Lake Woodlands.

The company, CPChem for short, closed on its sale of the eight-story, 200,000-square-foot 10001 Six Pines, off Woodlands Parkway, on June 2, about two years after acquiring 9500 Lakeside Blvd. for its new global headquarters.

CPChem is scheduled to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new 360,000-square-foot property — Building 3 in the Research Forest Lakeside office campus — with more than 400 employees, suppliers and community members, on July 16.

The company has offices and plants worldwide. In the Houston area, it operates chemical manufacturing facilities in Baytown, Pasadena and Brazoria County.

CPChem said it has consolidated its Woodlands workforce into the new campus from three different offices, including 787 employees.
