We’re learning more about 10 cars recovered from a pond at a Dallas park in June.

Police said crews found the vehicles during a “routine cleaning,” which hadn’t been done at the pond in about a decade. When the cars were first pulled on June 5, Dallas Chief Daniel Comeaux said the department is starting a new initiative called “Diving to a Cleaner Dallas” to potentially solve crimes.
WFAA has reached out to DPD to get more information on the cases tied to the recovered vehicles.
