A judge has issued an injunction, which will require a new hearing for the tax abatement approved for Exxon’s $8.6 billion facility.
According to environmental group Earthworks, Calhoun County District Court Judge Julie Bauknight issued the injunction, and in response, Calhoun County Independent School District agreed to file a public notice for a new public hearing on Exxon’s tax abatement application.
