The Buffalo Bayou Partnership is slated to begin construction of a 1-mile stretch of a 13-to-15-foot-wide trail on its south bank from Jensen Drive to Tony Marron Park in October, Ian Rosenberg, the nonprofit’s senior vice president of capital projects and planning, confirmed.
The $21.5 million South Bank Trail project is expected to be delivered by May 2027.
Houston-based Tellepsen Builders LP is the project’s general contractor, while California-based SWA Group and Houston-based Dept. serve as its landscape architects.
