Breaking Houston news: Fire at NW Harris County condos

One woman reported having difficulty breathing, but no other injuries were reported.

HOUSTON — Multiple fire departments were working to put out at fire at an apartment high-rise in northwest Harris County Wednesday afternoon.

One woman reported that she had difficulty breathing but no other injuries were reported according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The Timber Top Condominiums are just south of the intersection of Champion Forest Drive and Cypresswood Drive.

Photos posted by Pct. 4 and the Harris County ESD 16 – Klein Fire Department on social media showed smoke pouring from a window or balcony of an apartment unit several stories up.

The fire department asked drivers to stay away from the area.

Klein Fire, Champions Fire Department, Little York Fire Department, CyCreek Fire Department, Spring Fire Department, ESD 11 were on scene.
