Breaking Houston news: Beltway 8 feeder blocked at JFK Blvd near Bush Airport

Houston police said a man was killed. Detectives with vehicular crimes and homicide divisions were responding to the scene.

HOUSTON — A man died in a two-vehicle wreck in north Houston Thursday. 

The wreck happened at the intersection of the eastbound lanes of Beltway 8 near John F. Kennedy Boulevard, according to Houston police.

The call first came in at around 1:20 p.m. Shortly after, police confirmed at least one person was killed.

The wreck is affecting three eastbound frontage road lanes at Beltway-8 approaching JFK near George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Police haven’t released any more details on how the crash happened, the identity of the person who was killed, or whether anyone else was injured in the collision.

Police said that detectives with the vehicular crimes and homicide divisions were responding to the crash.
