Beyoncé shines in Houston finale after show pause

The conversation before night two of Beyoncé’s show was about the mishap during “Sixteen Carriages.”

HOUSTON — Beyoncé’s final show in Houston went off without a hitch after a technical mishap on night one brought her performance to a sudden stop. Fans arriving for night two admired how the Houston star handled the pause.

Her production company, Parkwood Entertainment, posted several photos on Instagram with the caption “nothing like a hometown safety net.”

Most fans who spoke with KHOU 11 News didn’t attend the first night, but saw many of the videos circulating online.

“It was really scary, I think she handled it well, I’m glad they got her down safely, hopefully tonight even if she changes it a bit, we just want things to go smoothly, her safety is more important,” Cheron Portee from South Carolina told KHOU 11 News.

Portee is one of thousands of fans traveling from around the country to see Beyoncé. Fans were also hopeful to see a surprise artist join Beyoncé for night two.

“Maybe Megan Thee Stallion, give us something real Houston, real Texas, give us a nice grill, some Paul Wall,” Sunshine Ogojiaku from Georgia told KHOU 11 News.

The main act is sure to make memories for the thousands of fans here. Ogojiaku shares the moments she wants to see.

“II Hands II Heaven so I can arise to heaven…the beauty of her voice can transcend with every moment,” Ogojiaku said.

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour will continue this upcoming Friday in Washington, D.C.
