Baby attacked by family dog at Northampton Forest home, Pct. 4 says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A 9-month-old baby was rushed to a hospital Friday afternoon after being attacked by a family dog, according to Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman.

Herman first posted about the incident on social media at 1:19 p.m. He said the attack happened on Etchstone Drive, which is in the Northampton Forest neighborhood off Wellington Court Boulevard.

“EMS arrived on scene, and the baby has been transported to a local hospital for treatment,” Herman said in a social media post. “Please keep this baby and their family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

At this time, we don’t know the child’s condition or what will happen with the dog.
