Authorities issued an AMBER Alert for 13-year-old Merlin Argueta, abducted from Louisiana, last seen in Allen, Texas, with an 18-year-old.
ALLEN, Texas — An AMBER Alert was issued Thursday night after authorities say a child was abducted from Keithville, Louisiana, and was last seen near Allen, Texas.
According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, 13-year-old Merlin Argueta was reported missing on May 7 from the 6200 block of Bain Boulevard.
The department lists the suspect vehicle as a white Chevrolet Suburban with Texas license plate VML6061.
Argueta was described as a Hispanic female, 5’4″ tall, and weighing about 110 pounds.
Authorities suspect that Merlin may be with an 18-year-old named Daniel Osan Vasquez Mejia.
If seen, witnesses should call 911.
