Allstate ranks safest cities for drivers, Brownsville tops the list

Houston came in at No. 154 on the list, making it one of the riskier cities for drivers, according to data from Allstate.

HOUSTON — A new report from Allstate claims Texas is home to the safest city for drivers. You may have guessed, but it’s not Houston.

The insurance company claims Brownsville is the place where drivers are least likely to experience a collision, and of the 200 cities on the list, Boston was the riskiest. Houston was ranked No. 154.

Allstate used data from insurance claims in the 200 most-populated U.S. cities to determine their rankings. Here’s a link to the methodology.
