A deadly crash involving a motorcycle on the Gulf Freeway caused lane closures and major delays in Webster.
WEBSTER, Texas — A deadly crash involving a motorcycle shut down several lanes of the Gulf Freeway Tuesday evening, causing major delays in the Webster area, according to Harris County Lt. Terry Garza.
The incident occurred near FM 528/NASA Parkway.
According to Houston TranStar, the right shoulder, right lane, three center lanes and the exit ramp were closed as first responders remain on the scene.
The circumstances leading up to the fatal crash are unknown. No identities have been released at this time.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes. Suggested detours include exiting at Bay Area Boulevard or NASA Parkway.
