72-year-old woman missing in Katy, Texas

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office seeks public assistance in finding Ella Mae Horton, last seen in Katy, Texas.

KATY, Texas — The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a 72-year-old woman who was last seen in Katy, Texas, earlier this week.

Ella Mae Horton was last seen around 9:00 a.m. on June 23, 2025, on Grand West Boulevard near the Grand Parkway and Katy Freeway. She has not been heard from since.

Horton is described as a 5-foot-8-inch tall woman weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has blue eyes and gray hair.

According to investigators, Horton was last seen wearing a black bonnet, a black shirt, light blue pajamas with penguins, and grey Van shoes.
